Damien hadn't known what to do with Fox when it was time to return to Ziggy's world and his duties to the tour. The Dogs didn't trust him and he was having strange day terrors. The only option left was to bring him along. He called ahead to let Tom know that they would be bringing an extra person along. He guessed Fox was a Dog, or eventually would be once everyone settled. Even Jack was on edge about the newly liberated blonde.
Damien was still on edge from the arguments recently and now he had a jittery, older copy of himself in tow. Still, he had sympathy. He remembered what it was like to just get free from the Ministry and the torture. Who knew how long it would take for someone else to come out the other side. Damien at least had the comfort of knowing he was hated, rejected. This seemed even more cruel, to be dumped aside as useless garbage.
"The people here might scrap and push but none of them will hurt you." Damien reassured the newcomer as they crossed the lot toward the buses. Fox was looking around like a caged animal despite being out in the open.
